Gunmen attacked Ora community in Kwara State on October 28, 2023. They shot at people, kidnapped two female Point of Sales (POS) operators, 
and killed another woman.

The husband of one of the abducted POS operators was injured while trying to save her. He is now in the hospital. Local authorities have mobilized vigilantes, hunters, police, and soldiers to search for the victims in the forest.
The husband who was injured is in critical condition.
The police command and other security agencies are working together to rescue the victims and apprehend the abductors.
