Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has vehemently rejected the congratulatory message sent by Governor Yahaya Bello following the recent Appeal Court judgment that upheld her victory at the National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal.

Governor Bello, in his message, extended his felicitations to Natasha, referring to her as his sister. He emphasized the importance of accepting the court's verdict on Natasha's victory to prevent any potential law and order disruptions in the state.

However, Natasha, during her appearance on Channels Television on the evening of October 31st, made serious accusations against the Kogi State Governor, claiming that he had made multiple attempts on her life.

"I would have preferred if you hadn't played the Governor's message here, as I'm only just watching it now," she expressed her disapproval on the television show. She vehemently opposed Governor Bello's notion that his actions were in line with the beauty of politics. Natasha argued that endangering oneself, orchestrating violent acts, property destruction, and obstructing the electoral process in the pursuit of one's candidate's victory could not be labeled as the essence of democracy.

Natasha went on to provide evidence of the alleged attempts on her life, stating, "I heard gunshots, and I have video evidence of his henchmen firing at my vehicle. These individuals were wearing APC shirts, and one of them was identified as Amoka, who had a role as a Returning Officer. He led a group of ten men in shooting at me, and we have video recordings that captured the incident."
