Lekki Street Traders Displaced by Officials from Lagos State Government

On the morning of November 22, the enforcement team from the Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources took action to remove street traders from Admiralty Way in Lekki Phase 1.

Kunle Adeshina, the spokesperson for the ministry, disclosed this information in a post on X. Along with the announcement, he shared images capturing the team's efforts.

"Environmental monitoring and enforcement personnel from MOE&WR were on duty on Tuesday at Admiralty Way, Kusenla Road, Ikate, and Elegushi Road in Lekki Phase One.

Their mission was to displace street traders and dismantle illegal structures that were being used as trading posts," wrote Adeshina.
