In Rajasthan, India, on the evening of Friday, October 27, 2023, the police in Pushkar took into custody two Nigerian women, Adaeze Jaye (aged 43) and Success Chamika (aged 23), on charges related to drugs. They were found in possession of a total of 65 grams of Mephedrone (MD) and a sum of Rs 65,000 in cash.
Additionally, the authorities confiscated Rs 65,000 in cash and a digital wave machine from the apprehended individuals. The estimated value of the seized drugs is approximately Rs 6 lakh, according to the police.
Rakesh Yadav, the in-charge of the police station, stated that a case has been registered against both individuals under the NDPS Act, and an investigation has been initiated. The higher-ranking officials and the control room have also been notified about the incident, as confirmed by Yadav.
